Gilt and silvered brass. Signed, "CHRISTOPHORVS SCHISSLE FACIEBAT AVGVSTAE VINDELICORVM ANNO DOMINI 1566 IAR
Includes: 1. A wind-rose.
2. A circular table giving the compass bearings from Augsburg o 90 towns. (An index-arm is missing.)
3. A horizontal string-gnomon dial, for latitude 48°. The string winds round a barrel, containing a watch-spring, which keeps it taut.
4. A lunar volvelle and aspectarium.
5. A horizontal pin-gnomon dial, engraved with hour-lines for planetary and Italian hours.
