Plaster core, brass fittings; lacquered paper gores printed from engraved plates; in painted wooden case. Inscribed, 'NEWTON's Improved Pocket Celestial GLOBE'; not dated.
Inside the lid of the case are pasted gores depicting the Solar system, and also carrying a zodiac/calendar scale.
