Unsigned and undated. Brass.
One plate engraved on one side only for latitude 40°; the back bears circular calendar scales.
The instrument is "roughly made and partly engraved by acid ... A degenerate type ... made cheaply for four stars..." (Gunther, Astrolabes, no. 284), but is probably a modern fake.
At one time in the Waters Collection, but before and after in the Lewis Evans Collection.
