Plaster core, brass fittings; lacquered paper gores printed from engraved plates and coloured by hand.
Inscribed:
"A New and Correct GLOBE of ye EARTH together with a View of ye General & Coasting Trade Winds, Monsoons, &c. Laid down according to ye Newest Descoveries and from ye most Exact Observations. By Iohn Senex. Sold only by Him [illegible] Salisbury court near Fleet street. 1718".
