Brass; khaki lacquer. Base 130 x 121 mm; overall height c.220 mm. The prism housing is mounted on an axis that can be inclined from 0° to 90°. The hour arc runs from 9 to 3 o'clock, divided to 15 minutes. The compass is calibrated from 0° to 360° by ones. There are two bubble levels, with one fixed and two adjustable legs.
