Maintaining the family tradition
This instrument was made by the grandson of Allahdad, whose astrolabe from c. 1570 is featured earlier in this chronological sequence. This one is signed 'Qa'im Muhammad ibn Isa ibn Allahdad Humayun's astrolabist of Lahore'.
