This web exhibition is derived from a small entrance gallery display in the Museum of the History of Science. The original exhibition was on display from 25 April to 25 July 2006. This website was launched in September 2007.

The site is designed to run on most common browsers; it requires no plug-ins or use of Javascript. It has been tested with Firefox 1.5/2.0 (Win/Mac), Internet Explorer 6 (Win), and Opera 9.0 (Win).

The appearance of this site may vary across different browsers; it is best viewed with Firefox, and at a resolution of 1024 x 768. It can be viewed at a screen size of 800 x 600 or above and has been tested up to a screen size of 1600 x 1200.
