'Marconi' Lifeboat Transmitter Type 241A, with aerial tuned inductance, 2500 Volts DC transformer, condenser, ammeter, and quench-gap spark housed in a teak frame. Ammeter mounted on vertical bakelite surface with scale 0-5 Amperes and damaged glass face. With five steel Aerial terminals (marked 0, 0.5, 1, 1.5, 2) on bakelite surface on upper section of frame. With steel Earth terminal on base surface. Associated with photocopied leaflet.
