Notes:

Early Coherer, relatively fragile, dated 1899. In small, narrow cylindrical glass tube with nickel-plated components, and copper connection wires exiting from each end. Structure appears to be two glass tubes tied together side by side, with upper glass tube having protruding glass tip. Label would indicate that filings are made of nickel and silver. Partially damaged with one end wire detached. Label probably handwritten by Marconi's first assistant, George S. Kemp (label initialled GK).
