Hivac Audio Output Pentode Radio Valve (or Tube) Type CV1052, in plain cardboard carton. UK military service equivalent of EL32 valve but mounted on different base. Glass valve with single steel top cap and black plastic? base. With eight steel base pins and one black plastic? central base pin. One steel base pin missing. Lower part of valve blackened, probably due to use. Name and location of manufacture identified by CV code HC: Hivac and Chesham.
