Becoming a Member
Museum membership is a great way to keep in touch and to support the work of the Museum. Becoming a Member gives you a range of benefits, including information about the Museum’s activities and events. We value the support of our Members, not only for their financial contribution but also for the goodwill they offer to the Museum’s work.
For an annual subscription of just £10, you will receive:
- The quarterly events programme with information about the Museum’s events and exhibitions
- Free copies of the Museum’s publication Broad Sheet with detailed information about special exhibitions and other projects
To become a member, fill in the attached form and return it to the Museum with payment. The information provided will be used only for the Museum’s membership records. It will be held under the provisions of the Data Protection Act 1998 and will not be passed on to anybody else.

Volunteering
There are many opportunities for volunteering at each of the Museums across the University. Please register at the joint museums website, where you can mention a particular preference for us. In addition to volunteering for individual events, longer-term projects are also possible. This can be mentioned on the registration form, or you can email us directly to discuss the possibility of a more sustained involvement in the work of the Museum – see the contact details in the box on the right.
