Finding your way around
The Web site for the Museum of the History of Science comprises a broad range of content that has been produced over a lengthy period. Pages like this one have been recently generated by a content management system called WordPress, which is designed to provide a consistent look and feel. Each page is typically divided into distinct areas for navigation and content. A menu bar (usually appearing on the left hand side) provides clickable headings, subheadings etc. to allow moving between different parts of the site. The main content is usually placed centrally.
We have considerable amounts of older content in the online exhibitions. These vary in presentational style, but should still provide a straightforward navigation system.
