Moonscope

24 May – 16 September 2007

Moonscope website [1]Rising, setting, waxing and waning, eclipsed or occluded, our moon reveals many faces and yet still remains elusive. Its secrets and the way the moon paints the space around itself have long inspired me and lit my inner vistas. In this recent work I aim to distill the essence of that response in a cycle of paintings which leads my medium, watercolour, to new depths and scale.

Moonscope [1]

‘Moonscope’ is an exhibition featuring lunar drawings by the 18th-century artist John Russell alongside lunar watercolours by the contemporary artist Rebecca Hind.
