You can volunteer to run climate models at home. Just visit the www.climateprediction.net website to install the software; the model automatically runs as a background process on your computer. As the model runs, you can watch the weather patterns in your unique version of the world as they evolve. The results are sent back via the internet, and you will be able to see a summary of your results on the website.
The climateprediction.net project based at the University of Oxford and is funded by NERC and Microsoft Research. It is supported by the Environment Guardian.
