Gilt brass; 58 x 58 x 14 mm

Only the brass case and lid remain of this astronomical compendium. They are lightly engraved in rings with numbers used to calculate the date of Easter, including Dominical letters, Epacts, Golden numbers and Quadragesima.

The inside of the lid has a shield, quartered with the arms of Stanhope, Mauleval, Longvilers and Lexington.
