Horizontal Dial

Brass and silver; 60 mm in diameter

This round dial, in silver and gilt brass, is kept in a case covered with blind-tooled leather, painted in green on the outside and in blue on the inside.

The string gnomon, for latitude circa 48?, is supported by a stand decorated with arabesques, with a plummet for levelling the dial.
