Diptych Dial
Attributed to a Thomas Tucher
circa 1590; Nuremberg
Ivory and brass; 130 x 80 x 13 mm

This instrument takes the unusual shape of a book with clasps. It also includes a wegweiser, the contemporary name of the instrument itself.

It is decorated using ink of different colours: red, blue and black.
