Art Resources
The following resources which can be downloaded in PDF format are intended to support the use of the Museum’s collection by art teachers and student groups. Each resource highlights a particular theme that can be explored through the collection and contains suggestions for activities and examples of sketchbook pages.
Artefact is a resource for artists, students and teachers based on the collections of the four University Museums; The Pitt Rivers Museum, The Ashmolean, The Oxford University Museum of Natural History, and The Museum of the History of Science. It includes images of objects, specimens and historical illustrations, downloadable worksheets, animated sketchbooks and a gallery space for schools and community groups.
