Space Explorers

Length: Up to 2 hours
Level: Usually KS1 and younger
Number of children: A maximum of 30.
Availability: Usually Mondays or Tuesdays, 10am or 12:30pm

This session gives children a chance to discover the Museum in a new way as they explore the collections in search of items that would be useful in a rocket bound for space. Encouraging discussion and problem solving, as well as the chance to learn about all sorts of exciting objects, this session is particularly appropriate for KS1 children, although could be adapted for Years 3 and 4.

This session works as a perfect complement to a space topic, as well as covering history, science and speaking and listening objectives.
