Shadows and Sundials

What do the sun and telling the time have to do with each other? This workshop investigates how the rotation of the earth affects the way we see the sun, and how the positions of shadows can be used by time-tellers. This session also offers the opportunity to explore the museum’s amazing collection of sundials as well as a chance for children to make their own working dial.
