Using the Collections
Only about one fifth of the Museum’s collection is on permanent public display. While regular Special Exhibitions showcase objects which are often taken from our reserve collection, the entire collection is accessible online through our collections database (follow the Search link in the left hand menu). The database contains detailed information about thousands of objects and members of the public can, where appropriate, make research visits to view objects.
