Brief Description: | Galvanometer with copper alloy base painted green and three copper alloy screws to anchor the base. The face of the galvanometer is made from a hard white material, possibly Bone and has a scale with numbers printed in black. "EDELMANN MUNCHEN" is printed in black on the face as well. Connecting the face to the base is a black metal cylinder with two strips of black leather on the narrowest parts. There is a well in the face with a copper alloy pin sticking upwards. Housed within the hole and balancing on the pin is a small curved magnet with a metal indicator attached. There is a piece of paper inserted into the copper with German handwriting in black ink. The galvanometer is stored in a circular cardboard case covered in embossed black leather. The case has a lid that lifts off and the base is also removable with a small compartment underneath. The compartment has two shapes cut out of wood for storing accessories. One shape is vacant, but the other has a metal pin with a flat vertical head. | ||||||||||
