Brief Description: The stage is supported by a copper alloy plate on a black wooden foot. A rotating disc with five apertures is attached to the underside of the stage and a concave mirror is set on a swinging arm below it. A pillar with a triangular section stands on the rear of the stage. The body tube pushes into a sleeve on an arm attached to the top of the pillar. It slides in the sleeve for coarse focusing. A mill-headed screw at the bottom of the pillar raises and lowers the arm for fine focusing (.1). An eyepiece pushes into the top of the barrel tube (.2).
