Brief Description: Marconi-Osram Valve Screen-Grid Tetrode Radio Valve Type S625, probably made early in 1928. All British versions of the S625 were designated and marked ARS6. Electrodes arranged as a set of discs along the length of the valve from one base to the other. The 'V' shaped filament is enclosed by the wire cage of the control grid, this is loosely wound on notched rods. The screen grid is a metal mesh disc that is held on the top of a cylinder that encloses the anode. Anode not visible.
Primary Inscriptions: "MADE & / PATENTED / IN ENGLAND / BY THE M.O. VALVE / CO. LTD. / 70 G.E.C. / W D" printed on exterior surface of bulb. "ARS6" printed on exterior surface of bulb.
