Brief Description: Silver case, marked "J.L.", "0.935", and has three Swiss silver marks (the bear) in use from 1882 to 1934. White enameled face marked in yards up to one mile, and with a small dial counting revolutions in miles of the large hand.
Primary Inscriptions: "FWR" and winged wheel trademark.
Provenance: Presented by A.W. Pullan, the grandson of Major-General Sir Edmund DuCane K.C.B., R.E. (1830-1903), the original owner of this instrument.
