Brief Description: | An ?aluminium and steel frame or stand for making very accurate two-dimensional positional measurements. In large wooden box or carrying case with leather carrying handle. Box also contains various accessories including roll of graph paper, viewing microscope/telescope, and drum-shaped leather case containing several small accessories. Sylvac SA, Switzerland, a scientific instrument manufacturer specialising in instruments for linear measurement, was founded in 1969, and its 'Sylvac measuring system' introduced and patented in 1972. | ||||||||||
