Brief Description: | Round mahogany tube with 3 3/4-inch achromat, focal length about 42 inches. On top of the tripod is an alt-azimuth mounting. The telescope (47212.1) is of a cylindrical mahogany tube with 3¾ achromat. Focal length of about 42”. Made by Dolland. Its’ eyepiece is formed by a narrow brass tube and has a small sighting telescope fixed to the mahogany body. The fixed tripod (47212.2) has an alt-azimuth mounting with slow-motion screws. | ||||||||||
