Brief Description: 1.Template made for the earliest four chambers (1937).
2. Punch, 9.2mm for central hole in #1. Punches are internally bevelled.
3. Template used for later, rather smaller, chamber.
4. Punch, 8 mm diameter, for centre of #3.
5. Punch, 8mm diameter, for use with some later chambers.
6. Three punches, 4mm diameter, for lateral holes in all templates.
7. Punch 2mm diameter.
8. Punch 1.5mm diameter.
9. Washers and collars used with early types of chambers.
10. Copper Alloy cylinder used a hammer for hitting in the punches.
11. Full sized, 2mm thick, copper alloy 10 B.A. nuts.
12. Half-sized, 1mm thick, copper alloy 10 E.A. nuts used as "lock-nuts".
13. The first box spanner made for 10 B.A. nuts.
14. The second box spanner with loose wire for ejecting nuts.
15. The third box spanner with spring-loaded solid nut ejector.
16. Spring-loaded box spanner with hollow 10 B.A. clearance nut ejector.
17. Thin Flat spanner for lock-nuts.
18. Thick flat spanner for full size nuts.
19. "Mosquito" forceps for dissecting flaps.
20. "dagger-pointed" forceps for starting the dissection
21. Fine pointed dissector for starting dissection.
22. and 23. Thick and Thin scalpels modified for the main dissection.
24. and 25. Eyebrow tweezers modified for removing Perspex plugs in chambers.
26. Pin vice mounted on holder with R.M.S. objective thread for removal of silver pins used in chambers made for inoculating tissue with bacteria.
