Brief Description: Simple microscope. The microscope's pillar takes the circular stage and has a rotating disc of five powers. It has a screw for adjusting the height of the stage. The pillar screws into the base of the case. The case also contains 6 copper alloy sliders, stage forceps on an arm with a hinged peg at one end, a plane mirror in a horseshoe mount and a milled nut. The case is mahogany and a has a hinged lid with hook fasteners. The base has a copper alloy triangle with a threaded hole that takes the microscope's pillar.
