|Brief Description:||Simple brass microscope with a cylindrical pillar standing on a folding, flat tripod foot. A pinhole on the pillar holds the concave mirror in a horseshoe mount. A rack and pinion mechanism at the top of the pillar raises a bar, with a circular cross section, from within the pillar. An arm with, a threaded ring on the end, pushes into a bracket at the top of the bar. An eye lens with a Lieberkuhn screws into the ring. The assembly moves back and fourth and pivots giving the instrument 'aquatic' movement.|
