Brief Description: Square plate with four levelling feet, sprung folding plummet level, inset compass and horizontal dial with detachable gnomon. Folding latitude quadrant mounted on centre of compass passing through centre of hinged equinoctial ring with geared minute dial and declination scale with sights (one missing).
Primary Inscriptions: "Johan Georg Kandel Constanz" on underside of equinoctial ring.
