Brief Description: 1a printed latitude table; 1b printed vertical string-gnomon dial for 49°, with points for 38-54°; 2a inset compass with printed and coloured card and printed horizontal string-gnomon dial with hour scales for 55, 50 and 45°; 2b blank. One hook to hold upper leaf open, another to fasten it closed.
Primary Inscriptions: "Stockert" on compass card. Dealer's (?) note in pencil on base "N.6" (cf. inv. 39134).
Provenance: Presented to the University by Lewis Evans with his collection.
