|Brief Description:||Conventional gilt brass pocket or box sextant, with silver scale. William Elliott brought two of his sons into formal partnership with him in 1850, and died in 1853; the name W. Elliott & Sons was used in 1850-53 only, the sons afterwards adopting the name Elliott Brothers.|
