Brief Description: Commercial 'Photo Album' with plastic sleeves for approx. 6x4 inch prints, containing 25 colour photographs and some other items, 1986-89. The photographs mostly show sundials, some of them designed by Peter Drinkwater himself, chiefly a series showing his multi-facetted stone sundial (14545) when new; there are also stone vertical sundials presumably made by John Stevens, and a vertical sundial by Drinkwater on the wall of a house. Drinkwater appears in several of the photographs. Other items include printed instruction card (French) for a replica ring dial, with translation, and the business card of John Stevens, stone mason.
Primary Inscriptions: Inscribed inside front cover in Peter Drinkwater's decorative calligraphic handwriting: 'Ex Libris Peter I. Drinkwater 1988.'.
Provenance: Bequeathed by Peter Drinkwater in 2013. Received from the executors in 2014.
