Brief Description: Stereoscopic albumen print (single print) mounted on pale yellow card. A finely composed pictorial view with interesting stereoscopic effect, achieved by photographing a distant landscape from the top of a precipitous slope and featuring figures on top of the rock in the foreground. From the series 'The Glens of the Catskills'.
One of a collection of 74 early American stereoscopic photographs from the collection of Estella Canziani.
Primary Inscriptions: Printed label on back of mount.
Provenance: Presented by Beatrice M. Blackwood in 1966. Part of a collection of stereoscopic photographs that belonged to the artist, travel writer, and folklorist Estella Canziani (1887-1964).
