|Brief Description:||Mater; rete for ca. 30 stars; 4 plates; alidade; horse. In the wooden case of the astrolabe there were two letters by William Corner to Mr Baldwin about the former owner of the astrolabe in Northern Iraq, now in the object file. One of the plate is engraved with lines of Muslim prayers. The others are replacement. The back of the mater bears a Zarqellu projection. One the rete there were four knobs for turning, of which only one remains. Case.|
