Brief Description: A circular, lead-weighted base stands on three circular feet. At the centre compass joint holds the tubular pillar. A rack and pinion on the rear of the pillar raises an inner pillar. The body tube screws into a ring on an arm attached to the top of this pillar. The Huygenian eyepiece pushes into the top of the tube and a conical nose with a single button objective screws into the lower end. The rectangular stage has two spring clips to hold specimens. Below the stage a pinhole holds the mount with the concave mirror. the mahogany case has four drawers.
