|Brief Description:||This brass instrument stands on a disk with a pinhole for a mirror at its centre. Three scrolled legs support the circular stage and body. The stage has a keyhole slot and a pinhole for accessories. The body consists of a draw tube that pushes into a cylinder fixed to the legs. The tube has a blackened eyecup, that screws over the eye lens, and a field lens. The tapered nose has as internal thread for objectives. The pyramid case is mahogany and has a drawer lined with green felt. The draw contains four objectives, a brass fishplate and a cone condenser.|
