|Brief Description:||The square sectioned limb is carried on trunions on a flat tripod foot. A rack and pinion, operated by two milled knobs, raises a triangular bar from within the limb for coarse focusing. The monocular body tube is carried on an arm at the top of the bar. A milled head on a screw on the arm operates the fine focus. The rectangular stage is mounted on the limb at the level of the trunions. A bracket to hold specimens is held on the stage by clips and a rotating disk with four apertures is mounted on a cylinder attached to the underside of the stage. A cylindrical bar below the stage holds the plano-concave mirror on a sliding sleeve.|
