Brief Description: Marconi Transmitting-Type Radio Valve (or Tube) Type MT1, with a ten-turn grid, and rated for approx. 100W. With medium glass bulb, nickel-plated interior filaments and anodes, and lacking base. With three electrodes protruding from the lower section of the bulb and a single electrode protruding from the upper section of the bulb.

The Marconi Type MT1 valve was not available in 1920 and so this may be a development version of the valve.
Primary Inscriptions: "10 TURN / GRID" handwritten in label stuck to upper neck of bulb. "Type MT / 3 ELECTRODE / Rating - Approx 100W / Used for Transmitting / 1920" handwritten on label stuck to main body of bulb.
