Brief Description: The transatlantic receiver, a Collier-Marr Telephone receiver, made of ebonite and brass mounted between the legs of a horseshoe magnet, with manufacturers details etched into vertical ebonite surface. Extra windings on each leg of the magnet. With steel terminals on magent side of receiver and metal loop hook on other side of receiver.
Primary Inscriptions: "THE COLLIER-MARR TELEPHONE & ELECTRICAL MANUFACTURING CO. LD. MANCHESTER / COLLIER-MARR PATENTS" printed on vertical surface of receiver.
