Brief Description: Black fishskin-covered case with engraved and coloured celestial hemispheres pasted inside. Engraved and coloured terrestrial pocket globe. Three brass hooks on case.
Primary Inscriptions: "SCOTT / OXFORD" in northern Pacific cartouche. For date, note "Enderbys / Land / 1833" in Antarctica.
Provenance: Purchased from Tesseract in 2002, with assistance from the Resource/Science Museum PRISM Grant Fund.
