Brief Description: Brass, similar to the dials of Elias Allen, but with quadrant of degrees on reverse of the meridian ring. First latitude given of 'Woborn' (Woburn in Bedfordshire), therefore was made for the Duke of Bedford, of Woburn Abbey.
Primary Inscriptions: "Ralph Greatorex fecit Londi:".
Provenance: Purchased at auction, and was subsequently discovered to be an object missing from the collection of the Wisbech and Fenland Museum. Conceded to this museum by the Wisbech and Fenland Museum by letter of 10 March 1993.
