Brief Description: Collodion positive on glass (ambrotype), cased. Portrait of Mrs Samuel Morby, née Tutty, of Oxford, half length, facing left, her right arm resting on a table. Backing paint decayed but image good. Plain oval brass mat (no frame or cover glass). In velvet-lined wooden case covered in thin brown leather, relief decorated on front, hinge broken and repaired with sellotape. Single hook clasp. Companion of 16202.

Provenance: Presented by A. Riza in 1989. The subject was the aunt of Mr Riza's maternal grandmother.
