Brief Description: English Terrestrial Telescope, consisting of pasteboard tubes covered with green fishskin and green vellum; brass mounts. A non-achromatic telescope containing two draw-tubes and an erecting lens system in the eye tube. It is unusually slim, and is a rare example of the early work of the Dollond family, made before they introduced achromatic lenses in 1858.
