Brief Description: Cut-throat razor, with black plastic handle. Dark brown embossed card slip case. Traces of gold in the lettering on the case.
Primary Inscriptions: "The Little Shaver", on blade "VULCAN THOMAS ELLIN & CO SHEFFIELD", stamped at base of blade. "THE VULCAN RAZOR T.Ellin & Co. Sheffield", stamped on slip case.
Provenance: Presented by Professor Richard Sharpe in 2001. Used by Miss Dorothy Lord (donor's mother) in 1938/9 during biological dissection classes while at Manchester University.
