Brief Description: A bass rectangle with a collar and an iris diaphragm. The rectangle houses 20 coloured filters that can be pushed in or out of the optical axis by handles extending to either side of the box. Some of the filters are missing.
Box: Red leather lined with blue velvet & silk
Primary Inscriptions: "J Rheinberg London 1898" engraved on top of instrument. "JULIUS RHEINBERG, 16 COOLHURST ROAD, CROUCH END, LONDON, N." on calling card inside box.
