Brief Description: Folding, flat tripod base with a plano-concave mirror mounted on one foot. A turned brass pillar supports the limb on a compass joint. The limb has a square cross section and condenser lens is fixed to the lower end. Rackwork cut into the rear face of the limb moves the rectangular stage for focusing. A brass ring mounted on the stage can grip specimens. A groove cut across the centre of the stage allows tubes to be secured. An arm holding the body tube (.4) is attached to the limb by a screw. Below the body six objectives are held on a click-stop revolving disc. Has modern black sticker attached reading '366'.
