Brief Description: Marconiphone Two-Valve Receiver Type V2A (Long Range Model), with two valves, one wavelength plate, regenerator unit in mahogany case with BBC and Marconi logo transfers. With nickel-plated terminals, bakelite plug dials and assorted metal components within interior. With two pairs of headphones and battery plugs on one exterior side, battery plugs marked Low Tension (L.T.) and High Tension (H.T.). With Aerial and Earth plugs on other exterior side. With two nickel-plated knobs on each exterior side, and bakelite knob on one exterior side. With detachable mahogany front panel and separate battery plug.
Primary Inscriptions: "BBC [LOGO] / G.P.O REG No 0175 / MARCONIPHONE V2A / LONG RANGE MODEL" transfer upon interior surface of case lid. See Documents for other inscriptions.
