|Brief Description:||This brass instrument is supported by a vertical pillar, with a triangular cross section, that stands on a disk, screwed to a square wooden board. The ring stage is held on a sliding sleeve with a tightening screw to hold it in place. It has a recessed stage hole and two pinholes for accessories. The body tube is in a number of sections that screw together. The eyepiece has two lenses in a setting and a blackened eyecup. This fits the upper section of the tube which contains a field lens. The next part of the body narrows and an external thread fits a ring on an arm attached to the top of the pillar. The lower section of the body tube extends below the ring and has an external thread to take the objective. A Lieberkuhn on a carrier is also present.|
